After the activation of margin trading behavior during a chain upgrade, there was abnormal activity on the chain in which users were adding liquidity and removing more assets than they had added. As such, Engineering locked down the front-end of the DEX, and validators collaborated to halt the chain. Fortunately, the effects of the exploit have been contained, and many users who received extra assets have already sent messages expressing a desire to return the funds. Additionally, we know the identity of the largest exploiter of the bug, and are currently in the process of reaching out to him to get the assets returned.
